By any measurement, the Open Day Event at the Visual Management Systems Ltd. Head Office in Glasgow was a huge success.

Following the successful International launch of the next generation of TITAN products at Intersec in Dubai, this was an ideal opportunity to introduce TITAN VIEW, TITAN VISION and TITAN SIGMA to an eager UK audience and have some fun whilst doing so.

Introducing the New TITAN Portfolio to the UK

WelcomeFor the dignitaries and invited guests there was ample time to take a tour of the facilities in the custom designed accommodation in the Cambuslang Investment Park, to sample the famous Scottish hospitality and to take a closer look at the latest developments.

Jay Shields, Managing Director commented “This was a thoroughly enjoyable event and more successful than I could have hoped for. The visitors, not only had a good time, but also learnt more about our products, ethos and plans for the future, it was an invaluable experience for us all”.

TITAN VISION Demo1Following the welcome from MD Jay Shields the guests had an opportunity to network with the assembled staff members and friends old and new, or to join John Downie and Graeme Anderson in the demonstration room for an in-depth look at the latest developments of the flagship TITAN VISION PSIM solution, the All New TITAN VIEW IP Video Management System and TITAN SIGMA Command and Control Module.

The audience was fascinated to see the performance of the system in real-time and in particular the benefits that deep integration with third party systems can offer the user, both in functional and cost-saving terms. An area of special interest was the use of smart phones as additional resources on the ground either as a client viewing platform or as an extra pair of eyes not unlike body worn or dashboard cameras.

TITAN VISION Demo2The TITAN VISION platform also illustrated how valuable non-security information can be viewed within the system be it local / national news, weather or traffic info. However, the most impressive element of the demonstration was the ease of use that the newly designed GUI offers, allowing Video, Alarm, Access, Perimeter, Fire and other security management information to be viewed, dealt with and recorded quickly and simply, supported by sophisticated reporting, audit trail and activity analysis tools.

The TITAN portfolio provides all the components required to deliver “Total Situational Awareness” in every environment and with the introduction of TITAN SECURE (designed to meet CPNI standards) Cyber Secure edition of TITAN VISION and TITAN WALL video wall solution upon which much of the demonstration was presented, the Open Platform and Licence FREE solutions from Visual Management Systems Ltd. will continue to impress!

1 demo4John Downie Sales Manager added “Demonstrating the latest edition of TITAN VISION to such an important group of people was extremely daunting. However, I could tell from the level of interest and comments from the floor that the audience was extremely interested and impressed. For some this was the first opportunity to see a fully functional PSIM solution in action and for others an opportunity to focus on particular requirements both technical and commercial”.

He continued “It is not until you have an audience of such calibre showing such interest that you realise just how good TITAN VISION and its family of products are and what’s more, it provides a unique opportunity to gain feedback from those at the coal face. An important milestone for the company!”.

But it’s not all work!

Pool CompetitionTn dsc 1839During a fun filled afternoon there was also an opportunity to enjoy the “refreshments”, pit your skills against the TITAN team on the putting green or the pool table or simply take part in the raffle.

ChasAll proceeds from the day were donated to the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland and we are pleased to report that a cheque for £330 will be winging its way to them in due course.
